Reading with Rover
Once again, the dogs are in the backbone of n recovery project. We talked about the recovery of young misfits, Today we talk about support and recovery of children with literacy difficoltàdi.
Wash., The program was initiated “Reading with Rover” (Reading with Rover) which aims to improve literacy and attracting children to read.
This project will benefit the community and is aimed at libraries, to libraries and schools that are interested in the subject.
Rover is a dog, maybe our dog, and the child is a child who might normally have literacy problems, sensors due to shyness or fear of being corrected and judged by their inability.
Rover does not judge, Rover listens without comment, encouraging even more afraid to write more and more.
The comments of children who undergo the program, is always positive and their response really effective.
The child may also be accompanied to your dog, provided they exceed a very careful evaluation in order to verify that the furry friend is really patient and “concerned”.
